Gone but Not Forgotten !
The Wife of Sammie McKenzie has Joined HER ELOVED in Heaven!

Sammie McKenzie died a couple of weeks ago. Following him is his beloved wife Laverne.

There was never any doubt in the mind of any person who saw them together that they truly loved each other. Their love tranceded over half a century, I was at their 50th wedding anniversary over a decade ago. I have been watching the obit page, because I knew they would not be separated long.
He was a great man, who was loved by a great woman. They are two people who truly made lives better as they touched them. Sammie was a mentor to both of us through Toastmasters, Laverne would come with the goodies she baked.
I am truly better for having them both in our lives. I will keep them in my heart forever.
