Frances
Morrison, DTM, District Governor 2008-09
Frances Morrison, DTM, District Governor has been active
in Toastmasters since November 2003.
She has served at the club level in numerous positions and at the
District level, most recently LGET where she was awarded the Region VIII Excellence in Education and Training Award
and as LGM where she received the Excellence in Membership Award at Mid-Year
and for the 2007 2008 year.
Frances belongs to several clubs and has recently
conducted a Speechcraft which evolved into the Freedom to Speak Toastmasters
club within 3 months. Frances and her husband Jon reside in Colfax, LA and
enjoy their ever growing family which is currently their three children, a
daughter- and son-in-law and six grandchildren. Their oldest son, Sgt. Steven
Morrison is currently serving his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Darryl Hall, ACS,
Lt. Gov. of Educ. & Training
2008-09
Darryl Hall ACS,CL is a Computer Programmer/Analyst from
New Orleans, LA. He has worked on
numerous Department of Defense projects as well as projects on the state, local
and corporate levels. His goal has always been to help businesses succeed by
providing the best technology in a cost effective manner. Darryl is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity
Incorporated, the International Taekwondo Alliance(Black Belt), American Judo
and Jujitsu Federation, the Association for Computing Machinery, and last but
certainly not least, Toastmasters International. His home club is New Orleans Toastmasters Club 234. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading,
traveling, golf, and attending
entertainment events. Darryl is
a licensed private pilot.

Jeff
Harris, CC, Lt. Gov. of Marketing 2008-09
Jeff Harris has worked and consulted in the Oil & Gas
business for over 30 years. He joined
Toastmasters in 2003 and has previously served as Area 9 Governor, President
and VPE of Northshore TM. Beth, his wife - does radio and TV voice work from a
studio in their home. She's also an
award winning copywriter for Innovative Advertising
in Covington. His oldest daughter Megan is a Sr in
Biochemistry at LSU, and his youngest
daughter Erin will attend Tulane in the Fall 0f 2008

Tony
Moreno, ATMS, CL, Immediate Past
District Governor 2008-09 (Served as
DG 2007-08 Year)
Tony Moreno earned a B.A. in
Liberal Arts, and an M.A. with Public
Administration Emphasis from San Jose State University, Ca. He
retired as a Probation Officer in Santa Clara, Ca.. after 26 years
service. He is now involved in
volunteer programs: mediator for Jefferson County Dispute Resolution Center, a Court Appointed Special
Advocate ( for abused children), heads
a program with the Port Arthur Fire Department speaking to groups about homeland security and natural disaster
preparation and evacuation
planning. In District 68 he has
served as Area and Division Governor,
Lt. Gov. of Marketing, and Lt Gov. of Education and Training. In the few years I have been a member of
District 68 I have been tremendously
impressed by its members for their dedication, friendliness, generosity and cohesiveness. It is a
pleasure to be around such positive and uplifting individuals. I want to serve as District Governor to do
my part in keeping up its glorious history, and hopefully, help extend
our network of clubs so others can also enjoy the benefits of Toastmasters. Tony led District 68 back to
Distinguished this past year 2007-08. Great Job Tony, and Thank You.
